General Information
What is the Mini Kids Fair?
The Mini Kids Fair is an event designed to expose young children to entrepreneurship. It is designed with intention and purpose. Children will be given the opportunity, with the support of a parent/guardian, to create a product / service to sell. The goal is to have educational fun, for all!
When and where is the Mini Kids Entrepreneur Fair?
Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 11am-1pm. A full schedule will be shared to registered Mini Entrepreneurs, but we will open to the Public for sales between 11am-1pm.
What are the expectations of parents/guardians/mentors?
This event is designed to give children the experience of selling a product or service. Support is part of the process and encouraged! Your level of support depends on the age of your child but allow your child to take ownership and responsibility.
A guidebook will be provided upon registration to support children and supporting members.
Who is this fair open to?
This fair is open to two main groups of people. Mini Kids Entrepreneurs who will be selling their products / services on October 12, 2024 and the General Public who consist of anyone who would like to show up to support our youth’s businesses and overall learning development.
I have interest in registering my child, but I have no idea how to support them.
We got you covered! You don’t need to be an entrepreneur to support your child! Upon registration we will provide you with a detailed guidebook on how to support your child from beginning to end.
Registration
How do I register?
Fill out the registration form by clicking on “Register” on the home page. We encourage you to fill out the registration form with your child as it serves as a business plan as well.
How much is the registration fee?
The registration fee is $70 per child and $90 for two children.Register by July 15th and take advantage of our early bird discount; $50 per child and $75 for two children. Tickets include the following:
- Mini Kids Entrepreneur Guidebook
- Mini Kids Entrepreneur Fair T-shirt for each registered child
- Lunch for each registered child
- Personalized certificates of completion
- 6 foot table and 2 chairs
Can I register my children as a group?
Yes! We encourage collaboration! You may register up to 2 children per business. Children working as a group should submit one registration form that includes each child’s information.
How many businesse will be accepted?
We will accept up to 60 businesses this year.
Will electricity be available?
Yes, electricity is available. Once registration opens you can request the need for electricity on the application.
What if someone else has the same business idea?
No sweat! Children learn from one another! If you end up selling the same product / service, I encourage you all to support each other’s business! This opportunity is more about the experience your child will gain through the process!
What is on the Registration Form?
The Registration Form will collect basic information but will also ask Mini Entrepreneur’s to share their business plan, which will encourage them to think through some simple, but important elements of their business.
Get Involved
Where will my funds go if I donate or sponsor?
Without our donors and sponsors this event is not possible! It takes our community! Your funds will go towards funding start-up costs for children’s businesses, resources for families, venue costs, technology rentals, catering expenses, volunteer thank-you packages, t-shirts for Mini Entrepreneurs, and supplies and materials.
Is there an age requirement for volunteers?
The minimum age requirement is 16. Anyone under 18 years old must have parent permission.
